Wendy Kingdom is a workshop leader for the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and gives workshops on writing Information for Patients leaflets, medical writing and drug safety, and summarising. She is closely involved with EMWA, having been on the EMWA Professional Development Committee from 2000 to 2005, and serving as Education Officer in 2004 and 2005, and treasurer from 2005 to 2009.
Wendy Kingdom was the module leader for the project module of the Institute of Clinical Research Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research at Liverpool John Moores University from its inception in 1999 until its move to Cranfield University in 2005.
Wendy Kingdom provides commercial training in medical writing. External training seminars have also been provided to the Institute of Clinical Research and to the Welsh School of Pharmacy. Current topics include improving general writing skills, and how to write specific documents, e.g. protocols and clinical study reports.
